Simpson & Partners App
Every chargepoint comes ready to pair with the Simpson & Partners app, available for free on iOS and Android. It’s your hub for managing your charger from anywhere—check charging status, set schedules to catch cheaper energy rates, or lock/unlock your unit for extra security (if your model supports it). Whether you’re at home or out and about, the app puts control in your hands. No extra cost, no fuss - just download it and get started!
Charging Cable
How your chargepoint handles the cable depends on the model you chose. If you went for a tethered unit, you’re all set with a built-in Type 2 charging cable included as standard. It’s ready to plug into your EV straight out of the box, with no extras needed. Prefer the untethered version? The Type 2 charging port gives you flexibility, but the cable itself is sold separately. You can grab one from us or use any compatible Type 2 cable you already own. Almost every EV comes with a Type 2 charging cable as standard.
Energy Manager (Wired or Wireless)
Want to keep your home’s power in check while charging? Our Energy Manager is the answer, available in wired or wireless versions (both sold separately). This clever bit of kit handles load management, making sure your charger plays nicely with your household electrics. It monitors your energy usage and adjusts the charging rate to avoid overloading your system. Perfect if you’re running big appliances at the same time. Choose wired for a direct connection or wireless for a cleaner setup; either way, it’s a smart add-on for peace of mind.
Cable Hook
Keep your charging area neat and tidy with our cable hook, sold separately. Designed to work with both tethered and untethered units, it’s a simple way to store your cable when it’s not in use. For tethered owners, it keeps the built-in cable coiled and off the ground; for untethered users, it’s a handy spot to hang your separate cable between charges. It’s a small touch, but it makes a big difference in keeping your setup looking sharp.
